Aric Gastwirth – Executive Member

Aric has had a passion for golf for over 40 years, traveling and playing many courses around the country. In Spring 2024, while warming up for a round of golf, Aric and his son were partnered up with an older Korean gentleman, Mr. Sam Park. As the round progressed, Aric noticed Sam putting with a crazy looking putter. After inquiring about it, Sam disclosed it was an invention of his and was designed to create a lower backswing and downswing as well as a level putting plane. Aric met a week later with Sam and spent 30 minutes on a putting green learning how the putter worked along with a few other putting techniques. Intrigued by the concept, Aric learned that the putter had not been marketed for almost ten years. Sam confided he was “too old” and did not have the marketing wherewithal to properly sell the putter. Aric, being the entrepreneur, and Sam, wanting to see his creation successful, agreed to terms for the acquisition of the putter and all IP.

Aric has been a small business entrepreneur for over 35 years, starting and selling his own business and conceptualizing businesses the revolutionized various industries. Aric is an accomplished speaker and contributor on various subject matters related to small business growth and strategies. Aric’s experience includes owning a CPA firm, serving as CFO/COO of various public and private companies, and successfully growing several businesses from startup to multimillion dollars of annual revenue.

Aric graduated from Cal State University Northridge with a degree in Accounting in 1987. His work experience began with a two-year stint at Coopers & Lybrand followed by eight years of partnership in two of his own different accounting firms. Aric’s specialties were small business consulting, taxes, and expert witness testimony. In 1999, Aric embarked on a five-year career in the private sector, garnering experience in the international arena during this time, before starting his own business in the merchant processing industry. Aric spent over twenty years building a company that was the leader in the company’s specific niche within the industry. The company eventually grew to over twenty employees and ten million dollars in annual revenue.

Aric’s diversified background in consulting, finance and operations provided the opportunity for him to mentor and guide many small business owners through both positive growth and turnaround situations. These included guidance on cashflow management, raising of capital, employee management issues, strategic growth planning, business plan writing, and competitive market analysis. Aric has also served as a board member for both public and private companies.

Steve tried the putter, and the next two rounds had a 31-putt and a 33-putt game. Having proved that the Roll-N-Roll™ Putter works, they moved forward together with the business.

Sam Park - Inventor

Sam Park, inventor of the Roll-N-Roll™ Putter, arrived in the United States in 1976. Born in Korea, Mr. Park spent five years in Guam before his arrival. He arrived with his general contractor’s license and began his U.S. career. Additionally, he opened a souvenir shop in Las Vegas which remains open and successful today.

Mr. Park has always been an “idea man” and has had several ideas over the years but none of them come close to his development of the Roll-N-Roll™ Putter.

As an avid golfer, Mr. Park was always looking for ways to improve his golf game. He quickly realized that the fastest way to lower scores was to improve his putting.

Mr. Park wakes up early every morning and one morning he had a brainstorm, “I know exactly how to help people with their putting game.”   With this putting brainstorm, Sam went to work. Starting with cutting off the bottom of a Coke can and cutting the center out, Sam created a place to hold a ball that would roll on the ground if he swung his putter level. Mr. Park then attached it to the back of his putter and began rolling the putter back and forth. This motion automatically created the putting stroke that Mr. Park had been searching for. And there it was, the very first Roll-N-Roll™ Putter.

Over the next several years, Mr. Park worked with the Roll-N-Roll™ Putter, developing the Roll-N-Roll™ Putter system that would ultimately help golfers take several strokes off their golf game. In fact, Mr. Park received a certificate confirming a round with only 21 putts.

This dream became a reality and Mr. Park took his putter and newfound strategies on the road, spending time as a PGA credentialed manufacturer visiting many tour events.
